Spring, ah the warm weather, rain, and flowers. What more could you ask for. It's the season for everything. Sports are thriving at this time and not to mention the best sport of all, soccer!! Spring also means graduation which for some people is exciting and for others it might be kind of scary. Either way spring is the best season of all.
The weather this time year is awesome. I love the nice warm days. They're not too hot and not too cold, they're just right. Rainstorms are probably one of the coolest things to watch. It can go from sunny and sixty one minute and forty-five and cloudy and windy the next. I love to follow storms. Last summer when I was at my grandma's house for a birthday party, a bug storm hit Adel and there was a funnel cloud forming over us. Her neighbor came over to tell us to go the basement, she lives in a duplex, and instead a couple of my cousins and I head outside. It was raining cats and dogs, and not to mention all of the stuff flying around us, twigs, leaves, garbage, and some other small things. We just stood out there until it cleared, this storm was strong enough to put a tree into my neighbors house. Hopefully this year there will be some exciting activity.
Spring has the best sports. Track, softball, baseball, and of course SOCCER!!!!! Soccer is by far the best sport ever. It also happens to fall in my favorite season of all, spring. This year is going to be a good year. We have played three games so far and won all of them. We have two more games coming up this week, Nodaway Valley and Norwalk. Two games that will test our abilities but two games that we can win. We are trying very hard this year to make to State. Our biggest competition this year just like every year so far is DCG. They better be ready for us, cause we're coming for them.
Spring also means graduation. Most people are ready to get out, some others are ready but not quite sure what they're going to do yet. For me, I'm ready to get out. I'm ready to meet new people and get started on the rest of my life, of course it's going to be a little scary at first, but it will get easier.
I don't know how anyone could hate spring, it's just a wonderful season. The flowers are blooming, the trees are coming alive again. The birds are making there return from the south. I love waking up to the birds chirping. Everything is just so lively during this season, it's just setting us up for the summer months ahead. Spring, undeniably the best season.
